I was recently contacted by some friends from my Alma Mater (Southern Illinois University at Carbondale), who started a clothing line, you can check it out here. They call themselves ‘One Couture’, a combination of French, and English, ‘couture’ meaning Stitch, or thread, also, possibly having a deeper philosophical meaning.
They have some cool designs, and from what I hear, thats only the start. They have been mentioned on MTV’s The Andy Milonakis show, The Hills, and have some connection with one of the guys from Laguna Beach. I dont know the whole story here, but its interesting regardless.
The Clothing line was started by Jamaal Tatum, Former Point Guard for SIU Saluki’s, he was later picked up with the Atlanta Hawks as a free agent, but was injured. He is back in the NBA draft, and living in Sacremento, CA. I designed their business cards over the weekend, and will be possibly doing more work for them, so keep an eye on them, and don’t forget to add them on myspace also… here.
